Did I mention that I like to make art?
Growing up, I was in a house full of art and design inspiration. I see colors in things, in numbers, sounds and shapes. Creativity started early. I love music, reading classic books and comics. I'm fascinated with sci-fi, horror and spy films, cartoons and music videos. I collected rock zines and skate culture were precious to me. From there, I got into drawing , painting and all sorts. I always thought I was going to be involved working in a creative sphere and that will be the purpose of my life.
Throughout my work years as a designer, I've worked in various companies and ad agencies and helped them with projects that expands across print to digital platforms such as design for web & mobile. I worked on ad campaigns, print design for magazines and posters, and brand guidelines. I've also started a small creative design studio together with my partner. I'm always excited and love a challenge that involves collaborating with talented individuals that share a common goal. Each experience has helped me grow and gained a better understanding of my objective as a designer.
Design for me is about solving problems and applying creative solutions. It's a responsibility to make users and customers love what we build. The goal is to make complex simple. My process involves design thinking, extensive research, design iteration from idea to idea to come up with the best solution at a given time. In the future, I like to be part of a team that gives importance on effective design process, user-research, accessibility and inclusivity and true value of collaboration.
On my free time, I love going for walks while listening to podcast, attending yoga classes, travelling and going to the beach, visiting art museums and creating art collages.

Moved to Sydney where I continued working with Flying Kick projects. At this time I was focused on working on digital magazine, investment company websites and marketing collaterals for a food business. I've had the opportunity to work with fantastic people where we collaborated on ideas, business growth and opportunities.
Concurrently, while the world is in pandemic, and Sydney is in lockdown, I was thinking of things on what I wanted to improve. I've always been keen to up-skill more in my profession. I studied UX/UI Design - User and Brand Analysis Bootcamp (Design Centre Enmore TAFENSW) and this gave me the perspective to continue my objectives and have better core principles as a designer. I had a wonderful experience learning and got more interested with UX processes, laws and methodologies. With my background in visual design, this has given me a better approach and structure to understand user-centric design aiming to improve the experience of users for products and services.

My partner and I started running a small design studio - Flying Kick. We help companies and various clients with UI/UX design and digital strategies by providing development and design consultation.
While doing contract based projects with Flying Kick, I studied Certificate in Visual Arts where I have learned so much about art and art practice. As a designer I'm also interested in creating products in art form whether it's ceramics, printmaking, drawing, painting and all kinds. It has open my mind and I have appreciated the art world more than ever.

Joined Asian Trade Press, where I was responsible for creating digital promotional media across a variety of mediums and designing core ideas for campaigns on multiple touchpoints. Work creatively and collaboratively with the internal team and external parties on delivering print productions, websites, packaging designs and brand identity.
Manila, Philippines
Creating and developing small to large scale design projects local and international. I had the pleasure of creating design deliverables on advertising agencies such as Leo Burnett, Ogilvy and McCann with projects like Coca-Cola, McDonald's, and Marlboro. During these times, I had worked with various companies implementing all things graphic and digital design for different presentations and requirements.
